Air Cylinders

A variety of air cylinders through SMC/Reid Tool and Norgren stainless steel cylinder tubes are great for low breakaway friction and attractive appearance. Clear anodized head covers for protection against corrosion. The piston rod is stainless steel on the 3/4" and 7/8" sizes and hard chrome plated steel on the other sizes. Max pressure 250 psi. Pre-lubricated. All sizes listed below are in stock for same day shipping, however, we can supply you with other sizes, styles and options as special orders.

Ball Screws

Our ball screws have repeatable positioning accuracies of +/-.004 in/ft (standard rolled), +/- .001 in/ft (precision rolled), and .0005 in/ft (precision ground). Standard diameters from 3/8" to 4" (larger diameters up to 14" as specials). Standard leads from .125" to 1.875", available in alloy and stainless steel screws. A variety of metric sizes available.

Cam Units

Our aerial and die mount cams offer you a choice of cams to suit your press stroke length, work angle and slide width. Die cam slide widths are available from 50 mm to 1200 mm with up to 13 different work angles.

Core Pins

Royal Special Miniature Perforators and Core Pins can be ground with multiple step diameters to .006", tapers, points, sphericals, ribs, head flats, and odd shapes. Precision ground from a variety of Tool Steels such as M-2 High Speed Steel, H-13 Hotwork Steel, PM Powdered Metals, and Stainless Steel grades such as 420 and 440. Royal's Special Miniature Perforators and Core Pins provide the closest tolerances required for manufacturing parts such as Electronic Connectors, Plastic Medical devices, and perforations in Metals, Phenolics, and Films.

Die & Mold Grease

We offer both Dieco Die Grease and Slide Super Grease for the Die and Mold Applications. The Dieco Grease is a white, high quality solid lubricant and has unusual dispersing properties. It forms a persistent protective film, making it ideal for use with die sets on “Friction” posts and bushings as well as other tool applications. The Slide Super Grease Repels water. It will not separate, run, or fall out. Thixotropic properties provide excellent mechanical stability when sudden temperature changes occur. Exceptional load-bearing properties. Clear, clean, non-yellowing grease. For injection molds, mold assemblies, especially medical and food grade plastic parts. Prevents corrosion. Operating Temperatures.: -45F to +650F.

Drill Bushings

Ejector Pins

Stocked in standard Fractional, .005" Oversize, Letter Size, and Metric Diameters, Royal Knightride® Hotwork Ejector Pins are precision crafted from the finest grade of H-13 thermal shock resistant Hotwork Die Steel. The core is hardened throughout to 41-45 Rc and the surface is ion nitrided to 65-74 Rc in a proprietary process, designed to create a diffusion layer between the nitrided case and the hardened core. This process produces the ideal combination of toughness and long life and also prevents surface nicking and flaking which may be a problem with other nitrided pins. The diameters are precision ground to a high surface finish (5-10RMS) and tight tolerance (.0003") which reduces friction and increases pin life.

Electric Cylinders & Actuators

Electric Cylinders have progressed from being a clean and efficient replacement for hydraulic actuators and pneumatic cylinders to a common alternative to many types of linear transmissions. Gripper Buttons

Our workholding and positioning components "grippers" are all designed to promote higher productivity through faster speeds and feeds - while their modular and economical replaceable wear surfaces exted the life of expensive jigs, fixtures, jaws, and clamping mechanisms. We offer serrated grippers, low-profile edge grippers, straight serration grippers and single point grippers in a variety of shapes and sizes, in inch and metric. As well as Swivots - swivel action ball-unit modular assemblies for positioning and holding irregular contour surfaces.

Guide & Wear Components

L-gibs, V-gibs, square gibs, and wear strips are available in solid bronze, self lubricated and bronze plated steel. Gib assemblies are available in both imperial and metric sizes. Lamina is the only manufacturer of bronze plated wear strips. Bronze plated wear strips are available in lengths up to 96 inches (2438 mm).

Hand Wheels

Elesa hand wheels are available in a high-impact strength polypropylene-based (PP) technopolymer. Resistant to solvents, oils, grease and other chemical agents. Black standard color with matte finish. Black oxide steel boss with reamed bore (see tolerances). Self-adhesive, matte anodized aluminum central plate for fitting after handwheel assembly. Ergonomically shaped rim for a safer and more comfortable grip. Also available with standard inch and metric bores.

Handles

We offer both the Kipp and Elesa line of handles. Our adjustable handles act as a standard clamping lever yet can adjust to several positions. Pulling up on the handle disengages it while the insert or stud remains stationary, allowing you to adjust the handle to the desired position. Releasing the handle reengages it for tightening and loosening. Allows for convenient positioning for maximum leverage as well as saving space and keeping the handle out of the way. Available with brass insert or plated steel stud. Body is black thermoplastic.

Hoist Rings

For straight lifting only. Each ring offers three different thread sizes for varied use. Made of high strength steel. Do not apply side load. For straight lift only. Listed capacities are for maximum safe working load.

Hydraulic Clamping

Vektek, Inc. manufactures the VektorFlo® hydraulic clamping line, including swing clamps, work supports, edge clamps, retract clamps, cylinders, collet vises, push/pull cylinders, and pallet fixture devices. Laser Marking Equipment

Leveling Devices

Stud and socket style leveling devices provide an integrally machined stud as part of the ball. Stud style bases swivel 15 degrees off the centerline to adjust to uneven surfaces and level machine tools, electronic racks, benches, etc. Zinc plate with gold chromate finish is standard. Black and clear (silver) finishes are optional and require extra lead times.

Lift Tables

Designed for manufacturing and industrial environments. Lexco industrial lift tables and die carts are intended for decades of use and built to withstand the rigors of dirty and abusive handling. Tables are constructed of heavy steel frames for maximum durability. Triple telescoping guide tubes provide precision lateral alignment and heavy duty tables include leveling stabilizers. Long deck tables provide a large working surface for many applications. These tables are typically used as mobile and articulating work benches or in-feed/out-feed tables. Linear motion rolling guide of which slide unit moves on a track rail for an unlimited traveling distance. The dimensional accuracy of the slide unit and the track rail are controlled individually to achieve interchangeability, so that they can be added or changed freely.

Thomson's 60 Case® LinearRace® shafts are precision ground to exacting standards for superior linear bearing performance and life. Case hardened to 60-65C. Stainless steel for corrosion resistance, is 440C with a hardness of 50-55C. Chrome plated steel for corrosion resistance. The ends are not plated. Roundness is 80 millionth of an inch. Surface finish 12 Ra micro inch.

SPEEDLOC System

SpeedLoc has solved the common difficulties associated with precision attachment and removal of fixture plates, tooling, and accessories. Prying, pounding and jack screws are a thing of the past since the SpeedLoc design uses the fastening device itself to mechanically extract the precision “locator” from its “receiver”, allowing easy separation of fixture plates, tooling, and accessories. Unlike competing products, SpeedLoc does not require expensive “repair kits” since there are no rubber o-rings to break or finicky ball bearings to fall out or fracture.
